The Buena Park Youth Theatre provides fourth through twelfth grade students the opportunity to participate in performing two major stage musicals each year.
The Youth Theatre began due to the budgetary cutbacks in Fine Arts education in our public schools. The Youth Theatre has been producing fully staged Broadway musicals since 1981. Over 2400 young people between the ages of 8-18 have participated in full length shows such as: Peter Pan, Oklahoma, Wizard of Oz, Annie, Music Man, Into The Woods, Annie Get Your Gun, The Wiz, Oliver, Here's Love, Scrooge, Joseph...Dreamcoat, Annie, Honk!, Lil Abner, Guys n Dolls, Bye Bye Birdie and many more. All shows are presented with complete professional lighting, sound, full costumes and complete sets. All productions are presented with highest quality production values possible and have consistently received outstanding critical acclaim.
