36th Annual Elementary Art Show
January 4 - 27, 2012
Buena Park City Hall Council Chamber

The 36th Annual Elementary Art Show gave kindergarten through sixth grade students recognition for their artistic abilities by providing them with an opportunity to showcase their work at Buena Park City Hall. The theme of this year’s show was “My Favorite Story...As I See It”. A great story paints a picture in a child’s imagination.  Each word, a brush stroke; each chapter, a beautiful illustration.   Students were encouraged to paint, draw or collage a classic fairytale or children’s storybook as only they see it.

Ribbons and prizes were presented to the winners during the Awards Ceremony on Friday, January 27, 2012. All participants also received a certification of participation and special grab bag on the day of the ceremony.
